Traffix is split into modules, that can be used independently or via a project centre GUI. Modules can easily be adapted to new needs. New modules like noise immission or NOx concentration modelling can be added.
At the moment existing modules are:
The project centre is the central module for creating and managing projects and scenarios.
This module is used for defining new roads, resistances on roads, origins and destinations.
The data, specified in the Network Definition, are calculated, so that a resulting network shows traffic flow volumes according to entered data and the used shortest path algorithms.
This module can be used to visualize volume of traffix differences, e.g. between scenarios and the status quo.
Networks can be printed or exported into bitmap or vector formats or into PDF files.
The volume of traffic flows is derived from origin / destination trip matrices of a scenario or it is manually entered. The visualisation shows the intersections and the relations of the traffic flow.
